Hair Removal

Electrologists are trained to place a very fine needle into the hair follicle and deliver a micro level of electric current to destroy the hair root. Electrolysis can also be used to remove skin tags, thread veins, milia, cherry angioma, warts, syringoma, xanthelasma, seborrheic keratosis and mole reduction.

Dermaplaning and LED light therapy

Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation technique, which helps to remove dead skin cells, impurities and vellus hair. The treatment also helps improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brighten and tighten the skin, help with blackheads and blocked pores, congestion & dry skin and allows for better absorption of your skincare products, it will leave your skin feeling fresh, clean and super smooth. 

LED Light Therapy can be added to this treatment. It is a form of phototherapy involving light and a photosensitizing chemical substance, used in conjunction with molecular oxygen to elicit cell death. PDT has proven ability to kill microbial cells, including bacteria, fungi and viruses. PDT is popularly used in treating acne, reducing fine lines and pigmentation, helps reduce redness and inflammation and can also increase cell energy.

Microneedling

A special carbon paste is applied to your face, this is allowed to dry, during this time it is absorbed by the superficial dead skin cells, it will not penetrate to deeper living cells. A laser with is used to interact with the paste which causes the carbon to vaporise along with the dead skin cells. The skin will appear fresher, the pore size will reduce, often black heads and white heads are removed by the treatment.
